Remodelling injections

With age, wrinkles are not the only factor to make the face less attractive. The face loses natural volumes and the contours are less well defined.

L-polylactic acid (Sculptra) and calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse) are biocompatible and biodegradable products. Their injection into the deep dermis stimulates the natural production of collagen.

These products are particularly indicated in order to increase the volume of hollow zones (hollows of the cheeks, deep nasolabial folds, chin contour) and therefore naturally remodel the face.

Injection is carried out using a fine needle or microcannula under local anaesthetic. Your dermatologist evaluates the volume to be injected as well as the depth of injection as a function of each anatomical region.

The results are very natural and appear gradually after a few weeks. They can last up to 2 years and even more because they allow the skin, by stimulating it, to produce its own collagen.

A few minor side effects such as redness and hypersensitivity can occur but disappear spontaneously within a few days.

3 sessions at 4 to 6 week intervals are necessary depending on age, depth of wrinkles and desired results.
