Treatment with hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid reserves fall with age, the thickness of the epidermis and tissue elasticity decrease and wrinkles form.

New filler techniques using hyaluronic acid allow wrinkles to be corrected under local anaesthesia, as well as restoring facial volume and improving skin elasticity.

The products used are resorbable, reliable and do not require prior allergy testing.

The results are immediately visible and last 8 to 12 months.

There are many products on the market such as: Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma,Teosyal, Esthélis, Glytone, Stylage. The choice of one product rather than another is decided by your dermatologist as a function of the site and depth of each wrinkle, your skin type and the desired outcome.

Hyaluronic acid injections are indicated for:
– Filling the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, wrinkles around the mouth
– Redefining and increasing lip volume, remodelling the cheekbones, treating dark circles, filling in hollow cheeks
– Eyebrow heightening, increasing the volume of hollow temples
– Remodelling and redefining the oval of the face.

Depending on the site in question, treatment can be carried out with a topical anaesthetic or local anaesthetic injection for the lips.

The beneficial effects of treatment are immediately visible. Slight redness or swelling may appear after injection but this disappears within a few days.

Hyaluronic acid is re-absorbed naturally and gradually which makes it very safe to use. Its effect lasts 6 months to 1 year depending on the zone treated, the quality of skin and concentration of hyaluronic acid used. For optimum results, regular treatment once a year is necessary.
