Fractional skin resurfacing
CO2 laser is an ablative laser technique used for over 20 years in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
These days, the most recent technologies allow laser light to be “fractionated”, in other words to create numerous, separate points of impact distributed in a precise and regular manner leaving micro-spaces of healthy skin.
These laser points heat the tissues deep down and stimulate the synthesis of collagen in the dermis, leading to global and lasting skin youthfulness.
The treatment can be applied to the face, neck and chest; it is suitable for all skin types.
4 sessions with a one month interval between produce a lasting effect.
Some redness and swelling can occur after a treatment sessions for 2 to 3 days followed by the formation of micro-scabs. make-up can be sued from the 2nd day.
Fractionated CO2 laser is the treatment of choice to regain youthfulness for skin damaged by the sun or smoking, superficial wrinkles, pigment spots and acne scars.
Skin regains its tone from the first session. For deeper wrinkles, improvement continues in the months after the last application as laser treatment stimulates the endogenous production of collagen.
